Mattel, the global children’s entertainment enterprise responsible for the design and distribution of their Barbie® franchises, is partnering with live event company Kilburn Live on their highly anticipated new series of interactive attractions in North America - the “World of Barbie”.

On Friday, July 22nd, the first stop of the 30,000-square-foot immersive experience opened its doors in Square One, Mississauga. The exhibition features life-size recreation of sets and scenes inspired by the iconic Barbie lifestyle.
"This world premiere is a major achievement in terms of accurately recreating a world that is familiar to so many fans of Barbie”, stated Mark Manuel, CEO of Kilburn Live.
The experience allows guests to step into the world of Barbie and explore various full-size complete themed installations with their each designated activities for guests:
Barbie Dreamhouse: Visit the carefully decorated and designed rooms with a patio and ball pit pool
Barbie Intersteller Airways: Travel in Barbie’s space shuttle and enjoy a trip among the stars aboard
Barbie Laboratory - Discover the world of a chemist, from a Barbie-styled periodic table to a lab setup
Barbie TV Center - Interview, deliver weather reports, and broadcast news on The Barbie Show
Camper van - Travel in the full-size camper van
Fashion Runway - Walk on a pink carpet and pose!
Interior Design Studio - Discover the designer vignettes of a hobby room, lounge, kitchenette, and beauty studio
Music Production Studio - Play DJ and try on instruments from Barbie

Furthermore, the World of Barbie is also presenting an exclusive World of Barbie Museum, a style gallery displaying the evolution of Barbie dolls and Dreamhouses throughout the decades, as well as an array of her vintage cars. Guests can also create their personalized Barbie scene (price for Barbie Dreambuilder kit: $65) where they can select from dolls, fashion, and accessories to build a customized set.
The interaction also includes World of Barbie Cafe with sweet treats and tea and the halls of the exhibition all correspond to the names of the street in Barbie’s neighborhood. It is built to be a domestic and international tourist destination this summer with experiential and entertainment concepts. Square One is proud to host the global debut of World of Barbie.
The tour will continue to several cities across North America, including New York, Chicago, Dallas, and more to be announced.
Prices of admission range from $33 to $52 for adults, $24 to $52.5 for children ages 1-13, and free for infants under 12 months of age.
