Winter Carnivals in the West Island

Now that restrictions are easing up it's the perfect time to take part in some of the West Island's winter carnivals!


Dorval


The City of Dorval is excited to share that it's Winter Festival will be taking place from February 4th to 25th. All Dorval families are welcome to join both indoor and outdoor activities.


The activities consist of a Snow Sculpture contest, Virtual game show (February 4th), Sugar Shack Meal Kit and Quiz (February 11 at 7 pm), a fun day of skating (February 12th from 1 pm, to 4:30 pm), a virtual Snowman Craft (February 13th) and to close the festival a Snow Art zoom conference (February 16th).

Dollard des Ormeaux


The City of Dollard-Des-Ormeaux has brought back their Winter Carnival on a smaller scale. The carnival will be moving through different parks in the city. Enjoy a day full of skating, music, mascots, hot chocolate and maple taffy!


The Winter Carnival will be at Lake Road Park on Saturday, February 4th and Westminster Park on Saturday, February 12th. Families must register in advance choosing one of the two-time slots, 10 a.m. to 11:20 a.m or 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.

Pierrefonds-Roxboro


The borough of Pierrefonds-Roxboro is hosting a full day of winter activities on Saturday, February 19 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The winter activities will take place at Roxboro Park and be sure to dress more since all of the fun activities will be outside!


Admission is free for the whole day that includes ice skating, snowshoeing, snow scooter, inflatable slide, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and lots of hot chocolate and beaver tales.


There will also be live entertainment by the duo Rytmika. They will play traditional rhythms from all over the world that will want to make you dance! The duo will perform at 1:15, 2:15, and 3:15.
