Hudson: Park closure and home floodings:
There are now 31 residences flooded (basements) and 39 residences affected (water has attained the property)
• Water levels are predicted to remain stable at 24.21 m3 and may begin to recede after May 5th, depending on weather conditions.
• Hudson firefighters visit all impacted residences daily to evaluate each situation.
• Sandbags are available at the municipal garage, 525 Main Road, and can be picked up anytime.

Access to Jack Layton Park is now closed. In addition, all footbridges leading into the woods are closed due to safety concerns.

Road CLOSURE in Pierrefonds-Roxboro
As of this evening, May 3rd, Boulevard Lalande, between rue Dollard and Des Anciens-Combattants Park, will be closed and only accessible to local traffic, as the water levels remain elevated.

Mayor Jim Beis reassured residents this evening at around 5:30 that water levels are meant to remain stable over the next 2-3 days. However, he is inviting each resident in a vulnerable flood zone to remain vigilant and stay informed regularly. Those who are in need of sandbags or are willing to volunteer their time to help out the community can reach out to benoit.langevin@montreal.ca. Residents in flood-prone areas can take the following actions:
Install a sump-type submersible pump (or make sure yours is working properly) and a backflow preventer in the basement.
Keep water from the gutters away from your home and aim it in the opposite direction or the direction away from your house.
The water levels are still of concern, and the coming days will be critical in terms of protecting communities at risk of flooding. He thanked the workers who are implementing and reinforcing preventative measures. Mounting dykes is a danger, he warned and asked residents to avoid flooded areas.

Bridge CLOSURE in L'Île-Bizard-Sainte-Geneviève
The Mercier Island Bridge linking Louis Roch Street and Mercier Island is closed to vehicles and pedestrians as of today (May 3rd) due to rising water levels in the surrounding area.
The Centre de Sécurité civile closed Bord-du-Lac Road, between des Cageux and Roussin Streets. Circulation remains open to emergency vehicles at all times. Joly Street is also closed to traffic due to water.

Lane CLOSURE Vaudreuil-Dorion, Sand bag services
Due to the flow of water, there is currently a lane closure on Saint Charles Avenue northbound at the Paul-Gérin-Lajoie road for an indefinite period of time. Motorists will be asked to head in the opposite direction.
Two self-service sand stations are available to citizens. They can obtain bags, "tie wrap" type fasteners, and polythene to make stop banks at the municipal workshop (205, rue Valois). Location of sand sites:

Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue provides water level update
As municipalities and boroughs remain in the Intervention 1 phase of the emergency response plan, water levels are being continuously monitored.
Lac des Deux-Montagnes The level of the Lac des Deux-Montagnes is 1000 mm (40") above the minor flood level and has reached the medium flood level. The trend is stable. Overflows are imminent through the storm system on streets, parks and properties located in red zones.
Lac St. Louis The level of Lac Saint-Louis is 250 mm (10") above the minor flood level and the trend is stable.
According to current forecasts, the level of Lac des Deux-Montagnes and Lac Saint-Louis will stabilize over the next 24 hours.
Rivière des Outaouais Current forecasts indicate that the flow of the Rivière des Outaouais at the Carillon generating station will stabilize over the next 24 hours.

Senneville: Anse-à-l'Orme remains closed
Senneville has anounced the complete closure of the intersection of L'Anse-à-l'Orme Road, L'Anse-à-l'Orme bridge (Gouin Boulevard) and Senneville Road until further notice.
