West Island Drive-thru vaccination site opening Monday

The first drive-thru vaccination site in Quebec will begin administering shots on Monday, May 17. The site is located on Montreal's West Island at the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.

The new drive-thru site will be operational 7 days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

The site is expected to administer up to 4,000 doses per day.

An appointment is required and can be booked online at Quebec.ca/covidvaccine or by phone at 514 644 4545.

In order to receive the vaccine, a car or motorcycle is required. In addition, the arm of each person receiving the vaccine must be accessible through the car window.

Everyone expecting to receive a shot, even in the same vehicle, must each have an appointment.

On Sunday morning, the Clic Santé website indicated that there are no remaining availabilities at the airport vaccination site. The government reiterates that time slots are updated regularly and to check the website frequently.
