This month's Animatch adoptees are ready for their fur-ever homes

Make adoption your only option. These fur babies are in search of loving families. Animatch's center accommodates a dozen dogs, and a dedicated team of volunteers provide some TLC as these animals prepare to find their perfect match.

Like Bogey and Bacall, Daisy and Ti-Pou are meant to be together. The human who loved and cared for them recently died, and they now find themselves in search of a new forever home. Ti-Pou's eyes are cloudy, but his heart is young. He has eye drops that he will have to use for the rest of his life. Despite his low vision, he seems happy to follow Daisy on their walks. They are wonderful companions to each other and could be the same to the right person. They're looking for a family that will provide good food, comfy beds, and a nice walk a couple of times every day. That doesn't sound like too much, does it?

BELKA - FEMALE - MIXED BREED (ARMENIA) - 3 YEARS OLD

PHOTO: Animatch

Belka came from Armenia a few months ago with her buddy, Stelko. He has gone to his forever home, but she has yet to receive an application. She recently had a weekend getaway with a Volunteer, and he reports that she fits very well into family life. Belka is a people dog; she adores humans. Especially those who give good belly rubs. She's quite easy to train with treats. A fenced yard would allow her to stretch and roll to her heart's delight. Of course, she would still need a few good walks every day, and obedience lessons would help her be a wonderfully affectionate member of your family.

YOJIK - MALE - MIXED BREED (ARMENIA) 11 MONTHS OLD

PHOTO: Animatch

After being hit by a car in Armenia, Yojik was rescued by some good Samaritans. He had two broken legs and arrived at Animatch with a slight limp. Unfortunately, he was having a reaction to the pins in one leg, and the Vet had to amputate it. So he is one of three tripaws currently gracing the center. Yojik can do almost anything his four-legged friends can do, with few exceptions. No running or hiking, but he would enjoy shorter, more frequent walks. There are things you could do to make all your lives a little easier: a few rubber-backed rugs for traction, raised food and water bowls, and a soft, well-padded bed. Yojik has been through a lot in his young life and is ready and anxious to find his first and forever home.
