Pierrefonds' Eadsé unveils "Stay,"; a summery pop ballad with triumphant electro-soul melodies about trusting the process of love.

Eadsé wrote the song after reflecting on her journey with her fiancé. The two fell in love quickly and eventually agreed they should not rush things.
"He said 'to put the breaks on, but trust time and we will work,'" she says. "'Stay' is my happy ending, which for me, is really about a new beginning."
Eadsé knew from the beginning that she wanted minimal lyrics with "Stay" and trusted producer Trey Vittetoe (Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus), whom she had never met in person. The result is a heartfelt pop song perfect for road trips or the dancefloor.
Eadsé is also a new young mother of two sons and reconciles her thoughts and feelings on motherhood through song on her upcoming album, Healer.
"The new album will talk about boundaries, loving myself, listening to my intuition, and self-care," she says.
She is also gearing up for a show in Laval, where she is opening for Ariane Roy on September 8. Eadsé, meaning "My good friend" in Huron-Wendat, is a Wendat singer-songwriter based in Montreal. Eadsé explores the sounds of soulful pop, playing piano and hand drumming during her live performances.
Heir to the legacy of her ancestors, it is the memory and spirit of her grandfather—Grand Chief from the wolf clan and the raven family—who guides her through music. Her music encompasses what she calls a "complete feminine energy" and finding more connections between her Indigenous roots.
"The state of creating a song is spiritual for me. It's putting my energy into connecting with myself and my ancestors," she says.
She has been on stage with artists like Elisapie and Pascale Picard. In the winter of 2021, Eadsé released her first EP: My Good Friend, co-produced with composer and artist Emmanuel Alias. She is also currently working as a composer on the upcoming video game "Two Falls" and an upcoming album called Healer.
