Take part in Pointe-Claire’s collaborative workshop on strategic planning

The City of Pointe-Claire is inviting citizens to a collaborative workshop as part of its strategic planning process. This event will take place on Tuesday, December 13, at 7 p.m., at the Baie-de-Valois Nautical Centre.

The strategic planning development process has been underway for almost a year now. This major structuring project has had citizens and employees participate through surveys, as well as having members of the municipal council being actively involved.


Hosted by the firm Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, this workshop is a unique opportunity to share your vision for the future of the City of Pointe-Claire. This collaborative work is a final step in the citizen consultation process, which aims to validate the main orientations for the strategic planning and to help define the action priorities for the coming years.

  • 7:00 to 7:20 p.m.: Portrait of the population and territory

  • 7:20 to 7:45 p.m.: Workshop 1: Perception of Pointe-Claire’s main strengths and challenges

  • 7:45 to 7:55 p.m.: Plenary feedback session

  • 7:55 to 8:20 p.m.: Workshop 2: The priorities: social, economic, territory development, service to citizens.

  • 8:20 to 8:30 p.m.: Plenary feedback session.

  • 8:30 to 8:35 p.m.: Conclusion and vision of the City of Pointe-Claire.
