Shots fired in Pierrefonds: bullets hit a shopping center

No injuries were reported after gun shots rang out in Pierrefonds on Wednesday evening.

Around 8:30 p.m., a police officer heard shots fired near the intersection of Jacques-Bizard and Pierrefonds boulevards.

After searching the area, the police did not locate any victims or suspects. They did, however, find projectile impacts on a storefront on the second floor of a mall.

The scene was protected to allow investigators and forensic identification technicians to analyze it. The canine unit was also called to the scene to help search for clues.
