Quebec/Ontario Border To Re-Open Wednesday, June 16th.

The Quebec government announced that the the border between both provinces will officially re-open after being closed for several months.

Quebec's Deputy Premier and Minister of Public Safety Geneviève Guilbault stated on Twitter that "Wednesday, we will be re-opening our border with Ontario. We are relying on the collaboration of visitors from Ontario to respect all sanitary measures when applicable in the various regions of Quebec."


Visitors will also not be asked to quarantine for 14 days and border patrol presence will be significantly reduced.


The provincial border has been closed since April 19, 2021.
