In a newsletter intended for daycare services, the Ministry of the Family maintains that "wearing a mask continuously is recommended, but is no longer compulsory".

According to the new CNESST instructions following the transition of regions to the yellow zone, a worker must now wear a mask or maintain a distance of two meters or be protected by a physical barrier.

Wearing protective glasses is also becoming optional. The cleaning of books and toys will no longer be necessary, on the other hand, the disinfection of spaces such as toilets and dining rooms must continue on all shifts.
