On Thursday, February 27th, Hollywood hosted its first major red carpet event since the start of the new year. The SAG Awards, which took place in Santa Monica, aim to highlight the best in film and television of the preceding year. But the event wasn't only for American starlets.

Pointe-Claire's very own Amanda Brugel was in attendance and was nominated for her role in The Handmaid's Tale.

Brugel was the picture of elegance in her all-white drape gown gown, designed by Antonio Grimaldi. Her shoulders were adorned with crystal accents, and her ears were adorned with statement diamond earrings.

Amanda and her Handmaid's Tale castmates were all nominated for the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
