A removable barrier will maintain three lanes in the direction of peak traffic to limit the worksite's impact on circulation. This configuration, in place for approximately three years, is required to continue the maintenance work, which will consist of repairing and reinforcing the beams and slabs.

Listed below is the plan for traffic management on the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge as of July 4th:

  • Eastbound (towards Montréal)

  • 3 lanes open between 4 am, and 11 am

  • 2 lanes open outside this period

  • Westbound (towards Vaudreuil-Dorion)

  • 3 lanes open between 1 pm and 2 am the next day

  • 2 lanes open outside this period

  • At all times, it is forbidden for trucks to travel in the right lane in both directions.

Partial night and weekend closures will also be required during the work.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, the implementation of certain traffic management measures may be delayed.
