The City of Pointe-Claire has just announced in cooperation with their efforts to protect the biodiversity in the area, that they will be installing a new wildlife conservation sign. The city wants to achieve a more harmonious cohabitation with the wild turkeys in the area.
Pointe-Claire has designed a crossing for these animals near Terra-Cotta Natural Park. It will warn drivers of the presence of turkeys in the area and urge them to slow down.
