Masks no longer required inside Quebec workplaces, as long as there are physical barriers

Starting February 28th, face coverings will no longer be required inside Quebec workplaces as long as physical barriers or a two-metre distance can be maintained.

The CNESST made the announcement Wednesday morning along with the recommendation that masks should still be worn in high-traffic areas and common spaces.

They note that surface disinfection and hand washing should continue at all times, especially the disinfection of heavily touched surfaces.

Masks are still required on public transit and indoor shopping centres.
