“Friday night, the reorganization of services affected the delivery room. Service has been back to normal since 8 a.m. Saturday morning. The neonatal care unit suspended its activities at 11:30 p.m. Friday night and will resume its services on Monday, December 20th, at 8 a.m.”, indicated by email Hélène Bergeron-Gamache, spokesperson for the CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-L'Ile. Emergency cases will still be taken care of in the unit during this closure.

“Thanks to the collaboration of other CIUSSS birthing centers; the birthing unit of LaSalle Hospital and that of the St. Mary's Hospital Center, services will be maintained for clientele,” added the spokesperson.
