L'Hiver Bizard, the winter carnival, is back on February 24th and 25th after being postponed.

L'Île-Bizard–Sainte-Geneviève's L'Hiver Bizard winter carnival will return on February 24th and 25th.


This free event, which aims at encouraging young and old to be active while enjoying winter fun, will be held in the Eugène-Dostie Park, in L'Île-Bizard, and the Robert-Sauvé park, in Sainte-Geneviève. Here is an overview of the planned activities:

Skate Into the '80s (Patin 80)

New date: Friday, February 24th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Eugène-Dostie Park


Relive the 80s and the fluorescent era during this fun evening of recreational skating!

A special celebration will be held at 7 p.m. Join us as the park’s skating rink that will officially be named La patinoire du Coach Ken in honour of this long-time volunteer’s dedication to our community.

Family Fun (Fun en famille)

New date: Saturday, February 25th, from noon to 4 p.m.,Robert-Sauvé Park


Zack, the mascot, invites you to join him for a fun-filled family day! Enjoy numerous activities that will make you move and smile :

- Recreational skating with music as well as inflatable games

- Project PACE farm animals (alpaca, goats, and sheep),

- A variety of games, entertainment, and much more!

Hot chocolate will be offered for free throughout the festival!
