July 10th marks the 5th Annual Live Butterfly Release benefitting the TDPCR

The Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence's (TDPCR) objective has remained to provide dignified and quality end-of-life care to support terminally ill patients and their loved ones. The Kirkland Residence continues as a leader in palliative care within Quebec and Canada and houses 23 rooms due to a more-recent expansion project.

Butterflies are a symbol of change, hope, and life. In honor of the circle of life and to support those who have lost loved ones, the upcoming fundraiser for the TDPCR allows participants to release a butterfly in memory of a loved one. This emotional event will be entering its 5th edition and has become an annual tradition for the Residence.

  • The event will occur on Sunday, July 10th at 1 o'clock, with a rain date proposed for Sunday July 17th at 1 o'clock. The butterflies will be distributed on-site at the gazebo in Centennial Park in Dollard-Des Ormeaux (3000 Lake St, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, H9B 2M1)

  • A 30$ donation will allow a participant to release a butterfly, while 100$ will provide four butterflies to be released.
