Remembrance Day ceremony in Beaconsfield
The City of Beaconsfield invites you to attend our Remembrance Day ceremony and wreath-laying to commemorate Canadian veterans, hosted in collaboration with the Heroes Committee, Christmas Park Elementary School, and Beaconsfield High School.
With the goal of encouraging our youth to continue the act of Remembrance, the students will sing the national anthem and recite the poem In Flanders Fields. We invite residents to wear a poppy, the symbol honoring the memory of Canadian soldiers who gave their lives at war so we could have the freedom we enjoy today.

Virtual Remembrance Day ceremony by the National Field of Honour
In order to ensure the protection of all citizens against the COVID-19 virus and due to the complexity of organizing a commemorative ceremony this year, a video montage has been prepared and will be broadcast on social media and on our website. to commemorate all those buried at the National Field of Honor from January 1, 2019, to October 31, 2021.
The National Field of Honor will be open to the public on November 11, and members of the immediate family of people resting in the cemetery will be able to come and pray and pay homage to them.
Remembrance Day Ceremony at Legion Branch #115, Hudson
The Royal Canadian Legion is committed to ensuring Canadians never forget.
In today’s fast-paced world, it can be easy to take our way of life for granted, and forget what so many men and women sacrificed for our freedoms. Remembrance initiatives remind us to take time to honor those who have dedicated their lives to serve our nation.
