Elections Quebec: Recruitment of information officers

Élections Québec’s information centre team is looking for new members in preparation for the provincial general elections scheduled for October 3, 2022. Your mission: to answer calls from the public and provide a range of election-related information. Information officers interact directly with citizens and play a key role in helping people exercise their right to vote. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity!

  • Where? 1045 Wilfrid-Pelletier Avenue in Québec City (Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge Borough)

  • When? Successful applicants will begin work on August 8, 2022, with a paid training period lasting two weeks (until August 19). They will then continue working until the elections, scheduled for October 3, 2022.

  • Wages: $22.32/hour. A 6.5% bonus will be applied to regular hours (up to 35 hours), to compensate for the lack of certain employee benefits. Overtime hours will be paid at time-and-a-half.

  • Schedule: Approximately 55 hours/week. Information officers rotate between day shifts and evening/weekend shifts, based on a predetermined schedule.
