The CFER (Centres de Formation en Entreprise et Récupération) Riverdale program is moving to John Rennie High School in the fall to continue operation.
CFER stayed at the old Riverdale building as there was no space for it at the PCHS building. The Riverdale building now belongs to the Marguerite Bourgeois board and they need the space.
In a post to their Facebook, the program announced that it was in the final 2 weeks of the program.
The CFER program is made for students who are 15 years and older, who will likely not be successful in graduating from highschool.
The goal of the program is to develop autonomous students, produce engaged citizens, as well as train productive workers.

The CFER program is designed to train students for the world of work. Upon successful completion of the three-year CFER program, students will receive an attestation of studies. It is important to note that this is not the equivalent of a diploma.
CFER students can expect to participate in Sustainable Development Caravans, as well as the competitive Olympiade.
In an exchange with CFER's financial board president, she stated that an open house is in the works, but planning is difficult due to the pandemic.
