When Beaconsfield resident, Christine Harris, went to get tested for COVID this week she was startled to learn she did not qualify to get the medicare covered test despite her documentation of authorization.
Harris is considered an essential traveller as is her 7 year old son. Everett. Everett has a neurological issue that can only be treated in the United States. She has travelled three times since October 2020. She was refused despite showing appropriate paper work. She was advised to go private at close $350 for both tests.
