A secondary 5 student helps raise money for the West Island Women's Shelter!

Nora, a secondary 5 student from College Charlemagne, decided that her graduating project would be to help fundraise for the West Island Women Shelter's 12 Days of Action.

Alongside her mentor Cassandra, Nora set up at two Tim Horton's locations on St. Jeans and Hymus. Some student volunteers stood outside in the drive-through asking for donations while others stood at the entrances greeting customers and asking the same.

From everyone at West Island News, congratulations to Nora on this achievement!
