A 2021 sitcom was on set at the Morgan Arboretum in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue this past week.
“Ghosts” which will premiere on October 7th, 2021, on CBS tells the story of a young couple who inherit a country home and go after their dream of converting it into a bed and breakfast.
Samantha and Jay’s plans go awry when they realize the house is in shambles. Not only that, it’s been taken over by the spirits of previous owners and residents.
"The departed souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer, a pompous 1700s militiaman, a ‘60s hippie fond of hallucinogens, an overly upbeat ‘80s scout troop leader, a cod-obsessed Viking explorer from 1009, a slick ‘90s finance bro, a sarcastic and witty Native from the 1500s, and a society woman and wife of an 1800s robber baron who is Samantha’s ancestor, to name a few." To make matters worse? Only Samantha can see and hear the ghostly visitors.
The sitcom made Morgan Arboretum its home last week and was on set in the national reserve.
